Our library provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share, and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise the levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes which empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers and skillful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Oliver library management system, together with the ACEN digital library provide 24/7 access to a wealth of authentic, authoritative, age appropriate resources to specifically meet student and staff needs.

Holy Family Catholic Primary School Menai encourages a love of reading. There are many ways in which Holy Family champions reading through our library. The Bright Start Reading program involves the Year 6 students partnering with Kindergarten students to help them practice their reading and is held in the library on Friday mornings before school. Each year, students can choose to participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge which runs between March and August. Holy Family has a rich history of celebrating Book Week with performances, costume parades, activities and book drives.
